Welcome to Temple Beth-El of Brownsville, TX
Brownsville is Texas' southernmost, international seaport and the largest city in Cameron County. Visitors from all over the United States and Canada are drawn to Brownsville because of our resort-like atmosphere and warm, fun-loving people.
Brownsville's semi-tropical climate is recognized as one of the most delightful in the nation. The white beaches of South Padre Island are only minutes away.
There has been a Jewish population in Brownsville since the mid 1800's and the first Jewish house of worship was built in 1931. When the congregation outgrew that facility, the present Temple Beth-El building was built in 1989. Our address is 24 Coveway Drive
